The Southeast Valley 7th grade boys team traveled to Newell-Fonda Monday night and used a big second half to defeat the Mustangs by a score of 42-25.  The Jags had a hard time finding the basket in the first half, however the boys picked up the intensity on both the offensive and defensive sides of the court in the second half. Landon Vote led the way with 14 points with Conner Rentz right behind with 9 and Dawson Tuel followed with as solid night of rebounding and chipped in 7 pts. The Jags received solid post play by the trio of Ben Wanat, Caden Cramer and Wyatt Larson. The Jags also received solid guard play from Carver Peterson and solid minutes off the bench from the trio of Hunter Miller, Colby Peterson and Jake Paterson. The team improves to 1-1 on the season.
