Ogden-- The Jags went on the road for the first time of the season and fell 38-34 to the Ogden Bulldogs. The Jags trailed 12-5 after the first quarter of action. Offense was hard to come by for the Jags and trailed 23-10 heading into halftime. We needed the halftime break to gain our composure and adjust to their 1-3-1 zone press. We talked about upping our intensity on defense and challenging with a high hand on outside shots. The Bulldogs maintain their lead 32-17 heading into the final quarter of action. Things started to click against the press and the Jaguars cut the Bulldog lead down to three, but ran out of time and lost 38-34. I liked the ability this team showed to keep competing no matter the score. Keep playing the game hard and the right way and good things will happen.
