The SV JV Football team defeated MNW by the score of 41-0 on 10/02/23 in Gowrie.

Casey " Jitterbug" Hanson had a rushing and a passing TD to Colin "Money Man" Johnson who had 3 receiving TD's on the evening. Mason "Showtime" Bahr had 3 passing TD's, two to Johnson and one to Gauge "Julio" Jones. Jones also had an 80 yard kick return to start the second half. Spencer " Harcourt Hornet" Peterson was 5 of 6 with extra point tries. Big shout out to the steel curtain lineman who provided protection and holes all night for the offense including: Hayden "Mean Machine" Greene, Joe "Special K" Kauffman, Clay "Big Play" Lambert, Carrick "Big Red" Maguire, Jase "Music Man" Wilson.

The Jaguars defense led by JV Defensive Coordinator Coach Murphy has had two straight shutouts. The JV Defense keeps opponents average to 9 points a game. Asked about this, Coach Murphy states, " that's what we dooo and that's what speed dooo."

Coach Johnson says, "These kids are Pure Showtime in action, we have many Leaders/Dawgs out here at the JV level this year."
