JVR Jaguars Come Up Short Against Ogden, 12-22 Final Score
Thursday night, the JVR Jaguar Football Squad met the Bulldogs of Ogden at the Southeast Valley Athletic Complex. The Jaguars played short a few of their players and came out running away at the Bulldog Defense. Carter Ferry led the way for the Jaguars in the first half, rushing for a long touchdown in the first quarter and adding a passing touchdown in the second quarter to put the Jaguars up 12-8 at halftime.
After the half, the tide turned in the game. Ogden was able to attack through the air and came up with multiple big plays leading to touchdowns to give Ogden the win: 22-12. The JVR squad has improved tremendously throughout this season and have improved in all three areas of the game: Offense, Defense and Special Teams. We will continue to improve as we prepare to head to Jefferson to play the Rams of Greene County next Thursday.
