Raiders Too Much for Jaguars

Gowrie, IA ~ The Southeast Valley Jaguars (5-15) hosted the East Sac Raiders (16-7) on Tuesday, September 28th in a conference match. The girls lost by the scores of 15-25, 18-25, and 11-25. 

The team served at 88.6 percent with Maddie VanSickle, Madison Lane and Lauren Johnson perfect behind the serving line. Paytin Dorsey had two ace serves. The girls served received the ball at 41% proficiency which hampered them in setting up their offense at times.

Breck Mills had two solo blocks and one assist. Alex Kitchen had two assists with blocks while Ava Brunner one and Ellie Nolte had one solo block.

Addi Hint and Breck Mills had four kills each for the night. Alex Kitchen and Madison Lane had three each. Paige Weiland had two kills while Maddie VanSickle had one.

Kenna Scott and Madison Lane had four digs each. VanSickle, had three and Dorsey and Hindt had two each. The varsity squad will finish the week playing Ogden at home. During the week of October 4th, the girls will play West Bend-Mallard and GTRA (Graettinger).
