Jags Win First Conference Match

Sioux Rapids, IA ~ The Southeast Valley volleyball girls traveled to Sioux Rapids and defeated the Rebels of Sioux Central by the scores of 25-21, 25-21, 24-26, and 25-17. It was the first conference win for the girls.

The team served at 90.1% with Ellie Nolte going perfect behind the serving line and having two ace serves. Paytin Dorsey had three ace serves while Breck Mills, Kenna Scott, and Madison Lane each had two. 

Defensively, the girls averaged eight digs per game with Maddie VanSickle and Paytin Dorsey leading the way with six each. Lane and Scott had four each while Nolte had three. Breck Mills had two solo blocks and Addie Hindt had one.

Offensively, the team was led by Addie Hindt who had 11 kills followed by Breck Mills who had ten. Paige Weiland had four kills and Scott, Nolte, and Alex Kitchen had one kill each. The team improves to 3-7 overall and 1-2 in conference play.
