Gowrie, Iowa - Jaguars (2-1) win the first conference contest of the year by beating the Wolverines of Westbend (0-3) 66-54. Lady Jags outscored the Wolverines 16-5 in the closing 3 minutes to win 66-54.  

Jaguars had 4 double digit scorers for the game. Kenna Scott with 22, Madison Lane 17, Shelby Mills 12, Breck Mills 11. Alex Kitchen chipped in 7.  

Madison Lane was perfect from the 3 point arc going 5 for 5 for the evening. Kenna Scott made 2 and Breck Mills 1.

“The team showed good balanced scoring. Shared the ball well and everyone rallied around the hot hand.” Coach Mills. 

Next week the Jaguars play at St. Ed’s, Tuesday, December 7th at JV 5 p.m and V 6 p.m. Friday, December 10th. Varsity girls are at Emmetsburg JV 4:45 and V at 6 p.m.

The Jaguars JV topped Westbend Mallard in 2 quarters of play 18-6 in 2 quarters of play. Alex Kitchen had 12, Halle Steck 4, and Jordyn Rowley 2.
