Parents and Guardians of Southeast Valley Students,

2017-2018 School year - On-line student registration through the Parent on-line access is ready for both SWG and PV students grades K thru 12.

Pay Schools payment system is available to pay your student's fees on-line.

Farnhamville Elementary Preschool students have already registered during the parent meeting back in May.  If you have any questions, please call Farnhamville Elementary School at 467-5700.

Dayton Elementary Preschool students - please register on-line through the on-line parent portal.  If you have any questions, please call Dayton Elementary School at 547-2314.

School notification systems:

  • JMC Student Database - If you would like to receive text notifications regarding school schedule changes in your parent contact information, you can enter your email address with your cell phone carrier's suffix at the end of your phone number.
  • GRANICUS Notification System (formerly GovDelivery) you may choose to receive notifications via email or text message - sign up is on the front page of the website
  • Mobile apps are available in the Apple and Android app stores that allows for you to receive push notification messages sent from our school's website notifier.

NEW STUDENTS - please contact the school offices to receive registration paperwork for your child.  The schools will set up your Parent On-line Access password to register your child for the current school year.

  • Click JMC/Pay School tab
  • Click on JMC Parent
  • The JMC Student Record Management Software System comes up - be sure to change the school year to 2017-2018
  • “Parent user name” is your last name     
  • “Password” is what you set up with the schools
  • Please read the district message and follow the instructions in the "Register for School" tab then "Start/Continue Registration Process" tab

If you have not set up a parent user name and password - please contact the school offices right away – we are excited to have parents use the on-line registration option to save paperwork and everyone's valuable time.

A feature on the left side is Tuition/Fees - that feature is not available for payment options at this time. Pay Schools is the school's on-line payment system.

Fees can be paid on-line through Pay Schools – we are unable to have a link within the student registration database to go directly to Pay Schools - please go back in the school website choose one of the tabs your student attends - choose Pay Schools to begin your payment process.  Farnhamville Elem and High School are linked to Prairie Valley CSD  --- Middle School and Dayton Elem are linked to Southeast Webster-Grand CSD.  Use the Registration fees form to help calculate your child/children’s fees.

If you are not able to register on-line at home or another location the schools will have computers available for you to use.

You will be able to review or enter your student's information on-line.  The only forms that you will need to fill out are:  Registration fees calculation form, Activity Pass order form (if purchasing) and the Application for Free and Reduced Price School Meals.

Registration dates are Thursday, August 3rd at the Gowrie building and Tuesday, August 8th at the Burnside building.  Times will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  Office personnel from Dayton, Burnside, Farnhamville, and Gowrie buildings will be available at both locations to register.

If you are not able to register during these dates, you will need to register your children in the attendance center they will be attending - computers will be available for you to use.

School Meal benefits need to be reapplied for every new school year – If your family/children receive FIP or Food Assistance the school has been notified from DHS - you WILL NOT be required to fill out the 2017-18 School Meal application.  Notification letters from the school will be sent to students' parents regarding their benefits via email or mail.

2017-2018 Iowa Application for Free and Reduced Price School Meals

Waiver Statement - If your child(ren) qualifies for free or reduced price meals, you may also be eligible for other benefits. If you sign this waiver, your child(ren) will be considered for a full or partial waiver of textbook fees.  I understand that I will be releasing information that will show that I applied for free and reduced price school meals for my child(ren). I give up my rights to confidentiality for waiver of school fees ONLY. 

School Meal Account Balances - UNPAID Meal Policy

The school meal program must meet Federal and State nutritional requirements.  The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) implemented the meal pattern changes in July of 2012 and the School Breakfast Program (SBP) in July of 2013.  Due to the required changes Southeast Valley Schools cannot serve a milk and sandwich only for lunch to those that have a negative balance - all school lunches served must meet nutritional guidelines.

In accordance with state and federal law, the Southeast Webster Grand and Prairie Valley Boards of Education adopt the following policy to ensure school district employees, families, and students have a shared understanding of expectations regarding meal charges. The policy seeks to allow students to receive the nutrition they need to stay focused during the school day, prevent the overt identification of students with insufficient funds to pay for school meals, and maintain the financial integrity of the nonprofit school nutrition program.   UNPAID Meal Policy effective July 1, 2017

Activity Pass Order Form use this form for ordering activity passes for individual student passes, family passes, individual adult passes, or senior citizen (65+) passes.  School will print passes and notify parent or students when available.

Technology Insurance Waiver - Request this form from school offices ONLY if you wish to OPT OUT of the insurance fee of $25 per student for the 1:1 Chromebook for your child and understand by signing this waiver, if the Chromebook assigned to your child is damaged you are fully responsible for the repair costs incurred or replacement of the equipment.
