Week Four, Jaguars are 5-6.

Sioux Rapids, IA ~ The Jaguars varsity volleyball team ended the week on a challenging note by losing to the Sioux Central (6-0) in three games on Thursday night.  The team lost by the scores of 21-25, 18-25, 23-25.  Leading the way for the team with kills was Delaney Conrad with nine kills.  She was followed by Kiersten Fisher having eight and Ferrari had five.  The team served at a season high of 98.3% efficiency with Chloe Hicks having two ace serves.  Jaynie Ferrari, Delaney Conrad, and Fisher had one ace serve each.  Haylee Welter had two solo blocks and Fisher had one.  Emily Jaeschke had 21 assists that averages seven per game.  Last week the team lost to Newell Fonda by the scores of 10-25, 16-25, and 22-25.

At the end of week four, the team is standing 5-6 overall and 1-3 in conference.  Next week they will face Emmetsburg and Manson-NW Webster, Tuesday, September 17th, at home in a triangular.

The junior varsity finished week four with a record of 3-7.  They lost to Sioux Central by the scores of 18-21 and 21-23.  Junior varsity reserve also lost by the scores of 18-21 and 17-21.  JVR record is 1-5.  The JVR will host a quadrangular on Monday, September 16th.
