6-24 @ Pocahontas 0-3 L (9-7)

Print Version

The Jags after a four day break from bad weather were back in action this week against Pocahontas.  The Jags looked rusty from their long baseball break, but started hitting eventually but hits seemed to just find the Indians and some stellar plays lead to a two hit night for the Jaguars.  Both hits came off the bats of Jackson Housken with two line drives up the middle.  Defensively, the Jaguars were slagging behind from the break as well.  Giving up three hits but only one earned run defense errors were the kryptonite for the Jaguars on the day.  Pitching for the Jaguars were the top pitchers for the Jaguars, Jackson Housken, Coledon Bethel, and Kolson Kruse who all shared the workload.  A busy week ahead for the Jaguars as all three will be leaned on the rest of the week.

JV ACTION: NO JV due to wet field conditions and game time moved back.
