Southeast Valley Girls Roll against WBM

Southeast Valley Varsity Girls Basketball got a big win against West-Bend Mallard on Friday, November 30th in West Bend. The Jaguars defeated the Wolverines 64-38. The Jaguars started slowly against the Wolverines, both teams remained scoreless until the four minute mark in the first quarter. The Jags entered half-time with the lead 35-16. By the end of the 3rd quarter, the Jaguars were out front 50-24. The Jaguars shot 35 free-throws as a team, connecting on 20 of them.

Emily Jaeschke led the Jaguar offense with 16 points, including 7 of 9 from the free-throw line. E Jaeschke also secured 5 rebounds for the Jags. Mackenzie Crampton went to work in the paint resulting in 15 points for the Jag offense. Crampton made twelve trips to the free-throw line, connecting on seven of them.  Crampton ripped down 8 boards for the Jaguars and recorded 2 blocks. Morgan Castenson and Jaynie Ferrari answered the offensive call for the Jags, scoring 9 points apiece. Castenson hustled for 3 steals and dished out an impressive 5 assists to fuel her teammates efforts. Ferrari muscled 6 rebounds for the Jags, she also dished out 4 assists, had 2 steals and 2 blocks. Kasey Lundberg produced 6 points for the Jags.  Mady Jaeschke contributed 5 points on the offensive end. Lundberg and Jaeschke hit the boards resulting in 7 boards apiece. M Jaeschke also recorded 3 boards and 2 blocks. Cassi Berglund connected on a bucket to finish with 2 points. Berglund pulled down 4 rebounds and dished out 2 assists. Emily Hemmestad scored her first Varsity basket to add 2 points.
