6-13 East Sac W 9-1 (7-7) (2-4)

Print Version

The Jaguars had a long awaited home game against the East Sac Raiders who 10 run ruled the Jaguars at their last meeting.  The Jaguars were paced by their Junior Jackson Housken who threw a gem pitching a complete seven inning game allowing two hits, one earned run, walking four and striking out 12 batters on the night.   Jackson threw a heck of a game and kept a very good hitting team off balance all night and was able to give the Jaguars some confidence at the plate.

Leading the way for the Jaguars was Jaxon Myers who had a monster game going 3 for 4 with one double, scoring twice, and bringing in three runners to score.  A slew of Jaguars each ended with a hit including pitcher Jackson Housken, Nolan Johnson, Isaac Peebler, Mason Ackerson and Xavier Nichols whose hit drove in two big RBI’s.  All in all the Jaguars finished with 8 hits on 9 runs. 7 Runners batted in, 3 stolen bases and 6 walks.  This was a huge win for the Jaguars as they were 10 run ruled last time against the Raiders so to have the outcome this time was a welcoming sight for the Jaguar Baseball team.
