5/23 @ East Sac L 1-11 (1-2)

Print Version

On an emotional night for the East Sac community as they honored their fallen teammate who passed away this past winter, the Jaguars came in looking to steal the night.  East Sac came to play with good bats getting two early runs in the 1st inning off senior Jaxon Myers.  Jaxon started the game but due to a sore arm came out in the second giving the ball to fellow Senior Tommy Lennon.  Tommy threw well but with all the emotion of the night the Raiders came to play taking all the momentum securing the 10 run rule in the 5th inning off Relief pitcher Max Davis.

The jaguar bats were silent most of the night but some hard hit balls went right to Raider defenders turning into double plays, it really wasn’t Jaguars night.  Lone hits came off the bats of Pitcher Tommy Lennon and Jackson Housken, with Mason Ackerson scoring the lone Jaguar run.  A tough night on the diamond for the Jaguars but an emotional night that spurred the Raiders on for the win.
