SV Travels to SCC

The Southeast Valley girls basketball team loaded the bus, Tuesday, January 30th, for their last regular season road trip. Despite a controlled team effort the Jaguars fell to the Titons, 49-77.  Entering half-time the Jags were with-in eight points, trailing 23-31.  At the end of the third quarter the Jags were still on the heels of the Titons, 42-53. The fourth quarter found the Jags unable to score, resulting in only seven offensive points.
Morgan Castenson and Delaney Conrad led the Jaguar offense, lighting it up from behind the arch. Castenson and Conrad each connected on three treys, to finish with 9 points apiece. Mady Jaeschke battled inside and took advantage of her free-throws, to produce a solid 8 points for the Jags. Kenzie Crampton hustled in the paint to contribute 6 points for the Jaguars. Jaeschke and Crampton also recorded two steals each.  Kasey Lundberg hit a jumper and drained a three-pointer to finish the contest with 5 points for the Jags.
