Print Version

Four Jag wrestlers passed the first test and advanced to District competition next Saturday, at Webster City for the opportunity to compete in the Iowa High School State Wrestling Tournament. Juniors Coledon Bethel(113 lbs) and Xavier Nichols(220 lbs) advanced as runner ups to battle the winners from Sectional 16 which was held at Ballard. Fisher won his third consecutive Sectional title by pinning his Algona opponent in the second period setting up a possible showdown with last year's State runner up, Ben Lee, of Ballard.
