7/7 Madrid 11- 7 W (15-13)

The final game of the regular season for the Jaguars was a good one for the Jaguars as they came away with the big win giving them 15 on the season and propelling them with positive motion into the post season.  The Madrid Tigers came into Dayton playing much better baseball  but the Jaguars were that much better as the Jags sent out Andrew Dorage on the mound to start out the game.  Andrew only pitched 2 1/3 innings due to a low pitch count but did it with his bat in the first inning cracking a huge home run over the right center fence to give the Jags a quick 3 to zero lead.  Replacing Andrew in the third was Nolan Johnson who came in and threw the rest of the way allowing 6 hits but 4 earned runs on 3 walks.  It was a good thing the offense was exploding repeating their feat of 10 hits but this time getting the timely hits leading to their 11 runs.

Leading the bats was once again Cade King  going 3 for 3 at the plate while he also scorched the bases stealing three bases, while scoring 4 times.  As mentioned before Andrew had a three run homer in the first inning but wasn’t done going 3 for 4 over the course of the night including a double, while having a huge RBI explosion scoring 6 runners on the night.  Not to be outdone the batter right after Andrew, Dakota Jaeschke was one for 3 with a towering home run that cleared the fence and brought in 3 RBI’s on the homer.  With all that explosion a few other Jags did their parts with Myles Davis  going 1 for 1 but scoring three times and having two stolen bases.  Along with Myles, Nolan Johnson finished the game going 2 for 4 doing a great job at the plate and on the mound.
