6/24 @ S.C.C 8-9 L (11-9)(4-5)

With the conference locked up South Central Calhoun hosted the Jaguars looking to increase their conference win record and the Jaguars looking to take the Titans on their home field.  Finally with the Jaguars having everyone back they were ready to take on the Titans.  A very close game saw the Jaguars coming out flat but finishing the 6th inning with 5 runs to take the lead only to give the Titans another shot and come away with the 8 to 9 decision.

Defensively, the Jaguars sent Nolan Johnson out on the mound.  Nolan didn’t have his best stuff on the night but still keep the Jaguars in the game by getting big outs.  Myles Davis ended up finishing the game pitching for the Jaguars going two innings giving up four hits.  The Jaguar bats came out with Dakota Jaeschke, Nolan Brand, Nolan Johnson, and Cameron Anderson all ended up with one hit each.  Nolan J. and Cam both finished with one RBI while Dakota drove in two runners and Nolan Brand had a monster hit which scored 3 runners.  Myles Davis and Ryan Gustafson both had great games at the plate, Ryan went 3 for 4 with one RBI, while Myles finished with 2 hits on 4 plate appearances.

The Jaguars lost the game but with the Titans in their district this year, they are bound to play each other again at some point.  Next time the Jaguars will be ready to be on the opposite side of the coin hopefully for that game.
